Description:
This session aims to assist ICAEW members, who may have the need to look for alternative employment, to present themselves as best they can.
Attending an interview for any of us can be a challenge, especially if we have not had the need to seek employment and thus attend an interview for a number of years.
We will examine how to make a CV stand out, how to make a good impression in an interview and thus maximise the chances of being the chosen candidate for the position.
The career clinic will cover the following areas:
The current job market in the north
Job search / on-line job boards
Making the best of your CV
Principles of interviewing and assessment
Being the best at interview
Networking opportunities
CABA services www.caba.org.uk
The topics will be facilitated in an interactive lecture with plenty of tips and insights from the speakers plus opportunities for delegates to discuss and share best practice and ‘get interactive’.
