National Student Council meets four times a year, with representatives attending from all of the Student Societies around the country.

imageThe main aim of NSC is to represent students' views at the Institute by forming a network of communication from the Institute through Student Council and Student Societies down to Individual students and liaising with student societies to obtain feedback from students on issues relating to education, training and other aspects of professional development.

The NSC is also a forum for Student Societies to share ideas for events and how best to run a society.

Finally the NSC wants to increase the profile of the Chartered Accountancy profession by increasing press coverage of events, organising charity events and getting involved in recruitment into the profession.

Your NSC representative is Ross Parker (ross.x.parker@uk.pwc.com) who has recently been appointed Vice-Chair of the National Student Council.
